how do you use your creativity in service of your well-being?
it's more of a gift than we realize.
“Productivity, success, and happiness have to be self-defined. Forget the optics, it’s important because it's for your survival and your mental health.” – Michael Tonge
I used to say all the time that my creativity saved my life until I realized that it deserved much more than just the sole role of cleaning up the damage of my life’s trials, traumas, and uncertainties.
Yes, my creativity is a lifeline but it’s also so much MORE than that.
My creativity allows me to imagine new possibilities when I’m frustrated by the lack of none.
My creativity discovers new worlds through music, sounds, visuals, and harmonies.
My creativity encourages me to take my curiosity seriously.
My creativity softens my heart when I need to be more mindful.
My creativity cares so much about how I do things that it pushes me to create new standards and ways of being.
If you’re looking to use your creativity in service of your well-being, our brand new ✨ e-guide, Write for Relief: Journal Companion is for you.
We believe that creative expression, books (of all kinds), and literacy all serve as gateways to personal and communal freedom.
We wanted to create intentionality around our very first digital product that gives you space for rest, release, AND relief because keeping everything inside doesn’t make space for healing.
Our goal is that you use this journal companion to write it out, record it out, sketch it out, and collage it out, however, and wherever you choose to do it.
May the best of your creativity be applied to your own life, too.

WHY THIS GUIDE?
Conversations held in community can spark your creativity and self-discovery in ways that you may not be able to reach on your own. Since 2015, we’ve held discussions around themes that matter most to Black creatives and support them. Write For Relief is an opportunity to go inward and sit with yourself and what you truly need.
It features:
Writing prompts for areas that matter to you and improving your relationships with your personal joy, managing your money, navigating relationships and more.
References from fellow Black creators who are also building the lives they see for themselves and their communities
Blank pages to write on the journal or use it to go along with your current journaling method
