A text message conversation that blessed me, so I’m sharing it here:
Me: *shares via text how a certain situation is bringing up new feelings that I do not know how to articulate and how either I’m afraid I can’t keep up or that it may be too much for me*
My friend’s wise, wise words to me:
Those feelings make sense
But you are enough
So you don’t have to keep up, just show up.
So that’s my wish for you today, the person reading this newsletter.
Everything you’re feeling is valid. Even with all of those emotions, we’re STILL here to remind you that you are enough. So you don’t have to keep up, you just have to show up.
You don’t have to have all the answers right now, you don’t even know have to know what the full plan is. You don’t have to hop on the hamster wheel to get “everything done” before the end of the year. You don’t have to perform, you can just focus on living. You don’t have to be perfect, just focus on your presence and your reasons for showing up to your own life.
There’s so much power in that alone, don’t you forget it.
release the pressure by holding on to your commitments,
